This 12-week Half Marathon Training Programme is designed to take you from your current fitness to the start line feeling confident, prepared, and ready to perform.

Built using proven coaching principles, the plan progresses your training in clear phases — building endurance, improving speed control, and sharpening race-day readiness — while carefully managing fatigue and reducing injury risk.

The programme is designed for runners currently completing around 15–20 kilometres per week, with training volume increasing gradually by no more than 10% per week, alongside planned de-load and taper weeks to support recovery and long-term progress.

Distances can be adapted where required based on your current level and training background, allowing the programme to remain appropriate and sustainable for you.
